Sunrise at Surfside Beach, S.C.Photos and Text by John Myers, Internet Photojournalist
Then, for the nature lovers who believe people have messed up God's beautiful creation -- which we certainly have -- a seagull flew in and began working the beach.
I suppose he was looking for breakfast in the surf while also posing for my photos, without even asking for a royalty payment as a model. At least I think this is a seagull, I'm not a nature expert, but it was there and so was I, so I shot this vertical view of the same scene. This scene was shot right after the father and son, and before the couple strolling down the beach in the first shot.
Note the colors are somewhere in between the previous two shots. The magic moments extended longer this morning than any I've ever shot.
